Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
YT Advisors LLC (“YT Advisors,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit ytadvisors.com, engage our services, or connect third-party accounts (such as QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, or mobile carriers for SMS) to our platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, company, role, and any information you submit through forms, onboarding questionnaires, or email.
- Engagement scope — objectives, KPIs, financial context, and business context you share as part of strategic execution work.
- Billing details — processed through our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
1.2 Information from connected third-party accounts
When you authorize YT Advisors to connect to third-party services on your behalf, we access only the data required to deliver the engagement. Specifically:
- QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — accounts, transactions, journal entries, vendors, customers, and related accounting records via the Intuit Accounting API. We use this data solely to perform the reconciliation, reporting, and bookkeeping tasks you have engaged us to complete. We do not sell or share this data with any third party.
- Google (Calendar, Sheets, Analytics) — with your explicit consent, read-only access to your Google Calendar events, Google Sheets spreadsheet values, and Google Analytics reporting metrics. We use this information solely to display it and act on it within the YT Advisors platform on your behalf. We request read-only access only and do not modify, delete, sell, or share this data.
- Mobile carrier SMS — your mobile phone number and SMS delivery metadata, solely for sending notifications you have consented to receive.
Limited Use. YT Advisors’ use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above; we do not transfer or sell it to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or to train generalized AI/ML models.
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Standard web analytics (browser, device type, referring URL, page views) via privacy-respecting tooling.
- Log files (IP, timestamps, request paths) for security and service integrity.
2. How We Use Information
- Deliver the services you have engaged us to perform.
- Communicate with you about the engagement (email, SMS with consent, phone).
- Improve our products and internal operations.
- Comply with legal obligations and defend against legal claims.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing) under written contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- Third-party integrations you explicitly connect (e.g., the data flows between your QuickBooks Online company and our systems are authorized by you through OAuth).
- Legal process — when required by valid subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request.
- Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit, tax, and legal compliance. On request, we will delete data we hold about you, subject to retention obligations we cannot lawfully waive.
5. Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encrypted storage for sensitive data, chmod-600 credential files, AES-256 encryption at rest for secrets, principle-of-least-privilege OAuth scopes, and access logging. No system is perfectly secure; we disclose material incidents in accordance with applicable law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (California, EU/UK, and others), you may have the right to:
- Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time (reply STOP to SMS; unsubscribe link in emails).
- Revoke OAuth access to your QuickBooks, Google, or other connected accounts at any time through the respective provider’s settings.
To exercise these rights, email yomi@ytadvisors.com.
7. Third-Party Services Links
Our website and services may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies separately.
8. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance.
